This little restaurant has the best grilled cheese in the United States.. the french fries were hot and the tea was delicious. I just don't get to eat here as much as I would like. I would highly recommend this for a quick meal
The best breakfast in Hickory and the surrounding area. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The service is pleasant, quick, and courteous. Drinks were refilled multiple times without asking. The atmosphere is amazing. It has an old school diner vibe. We have gone there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Also the prices are inexpensive compared to any place else.
The lady's here are very nice and friendly they have helped me out before I usely get the some lady to take my order
This was my first time visiting. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was pretty good. I'll say, only go for 1 pancake unless you're really hungry as they are big. Service was on track. There were 6 of us and no issues. Everyone was happy with their choices
Excellent service with good old fashion cheeseburgers! Parking is sometimes hard to find, but it's worth the effort.
The hashbrowns with ham, cheese, and jalapenos were delicious! The place is clean and the staff are attentive. Never disappointed when we eat there!
Stopped in from out of state was not disappointed at all. Service was fast and good. Will return if in the area again
Long standing place to get great & really good price Southern style breakfast & lunch. My brother & I had country ham, grits, eggs, biscuit, side of liver mush & coffee. Portions were very generous & tasted soooooooo goooood!! Waitresses were so friendly. I highly recommend this for a great meal!!!
This was a great restaurant we had breakfast the food was excellent the price was fair the service was outstanding definitely if you're in Hickory a place to have breakfast
Like it has been for probably over 50 plus years they have the best flat topped grilled burgers in North Carolina, maybe even in the United States, hands down. The monster sized patties on their burgers are top shelf and delicious, they're probably priced cheaper than a big burger like at Hardee's, Burger King, McDonald's, Culver and What A Burger. Definitely fresher, more tasty and flavorful than any of the chain burger joints!
